​Sri Lanka explores the opportunities to strengthen the tourism sector 

Ambassador, Savitri Panabokke met with Ms. Cho Tae Sook, President of the Seoul Tourism Association (STA) at the Seoul Tourism Association office on 1st September with a view of exploring the opportunities in enhancing and promoting the Sri Lanka tourism sector in the Korean market.  

During the meeting, the Ambassador appreciated the cooperation extended by the STA to promote the tourism sector of Sri Lanka and invited the STA members to visit Sri Lanka. Both sides agreed to further enhance cooperation in the tourism sector between the two countries, including promotion to attract more Korean tourists to Sri Lanka. 

Mrs. Chandima Abeyrathna/ Minister (Commercial) of the Embassy and Mr. Hyung Il Park/ Secretary General and Ms. Seung A Bae/Director of STA also joined the discussions.
